Bruce Stephens
Bruce Stephens, co-owner of Well Within, began his study of Yoga with
Manju Jois in 1976, and with his father Pattabhi Jois on his many visits to
the U.S.. In 1983 Bruce completed his licensing course for Massage Therapy
from Muller College of Massage in San Diego, and from the Massage Training
Institute (MTI). He headed the sports massage program for MTI, teaching
anatomy and physiology, as well as workshops in Florida, Arizona and Hawaii.
His Studies of meditation and breath (pranayama) have been ongoing, with
courses from both western and eastern teachers. His interdisciplinary
studies have focused on a comprehensive holistic body therapy, human
movement and function, as well as mental and spiritual well-being.
Bruce's Yoga classes use classical Ashtanga Yoga as a format to engage
his students in a personalized program to increase physical as well as
mental and spiritual well being. Currently Bruce teaches open
Yoga
classes at Well Within on Monday and Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings.
He also teaches private scheduled sessions.

Julia Morgan
Julia Morgan is a classically trained professional
dancer, choreographer, and performer with an M.A. in
Humanities, a B.S. in Education, and post-graduate
study in Anatomy, Physiology and Kinesiology. She has been teaching
dance for over 30 years. Currently Julia teaches on Saturday mornings;
Dance with Julia Morgan Integrating the fundamentals of Modern Dance,
Kinesthetic Awareness, and Creative Movement
This class is based on classical and contemporary
techniques (from modern dance and ballet), while
learning to use the body intelligently, efficiently
and creatively. Individual attention, stretching and
alignment, along with structured improvisation are
included as part of the class. All levels of experience
are welcome.

Linda Nelson
Linda Nelson is a life long student of Polynesian dance, she has been
alaka’i (assistant) to my Kumu Hula (teacher) for 20years, after her passing
she started a halau (school) along with one of her hula sisters and
students. Linda attends as many workshops as she can to continue her
education in Polynesian dance, collaborate with other instructors, research
traditions and language, and continue her Kumu’s traditions. Linda
Says, "Our halau (school) is Kehulili O Kailani (Sparkle of the
Heavenly
Sea) we
offer Polynesian dance,
(dances of Hawaii,
Tahiti,
New Zealand
and Samoa).
Currently Linda teaches along with Trudi Saltamachio three
Polynesian
Dance classes on Tuesdays and
Wednesdays at Well Within.

Ali Thomas
Ali Thomas studied piano, flute, bass guitar, tenor saxophone, and guitar
before discovering her true passion, percussion. The Djembe called to
Ali in 2000, and since then she has made it her top priority to study
and teach traditional Mandingue rhythms from
West Africa.
Ali is currently the Assistant Director of TTM San
Diego.

Savita Geuther
Savita Geuther is a certified yoga instructor and yoga
therapist. She received her teacher certification from the Masters Yoga
Academy of La Jolla, CA. Over the past seven years, Savita has
specialized in working with clients suffering from back injuries or
chronic back pain. She was the first yoga therapist to work with
patients at the Pain Center of Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla.
She has also focused on working with small groups for stress and pain
management using yoga, breathwork, meditation and elements of body/mind
psychology. Savita gently leads her students to natural healing, using
tender yet effective methods incorporating the power of Svaroopa Yoga.
